Helen Marie Harley Hartville, MO

Helen Marie Harley, 92 years passed to heaven on July 10, 2012 at Ozark Community Hospital, Springfield, MO.

Helen was born August 23, 1919 in Lutie, MO to Charlie and Effie (Nooncaster) Haskins.

Helen was a resident of the Hartville community since 1962 moving from Idaho. She grewup in Ozark County, MO. On August 1, 1942 Helen and Cecil E. Harley were united in marriage in the state of Idaho and to this union three children were born.

Helen worked at the Shoe Factory in Mansfield, MO and also dairy farmed with her husband in Hartville. She was a Christian. Helen enjoyed working in her garden, taking care of her flowers, feeding her hummingbirds and her joy was being with her grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil E. in 1994, two daughters, Carolyn Jo Moore and Jean Griffith, a grandson, Tony Stephenson, a great granddaughter, Casey Marie Napier, two brothers, Boyd and Orlan Haskins and two sisters, Hazel and Pauline.

Helen is survived by two daughters, Ann Harley and Linda Hensley both of Hartville, MO, seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Turner, Kansas City, MO, Freda Meyers, Ocie, MO and Doris Robinette, Little Rock, AR and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Helen will be Friday, July 13, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Thornfield Chapel, Thornfield, MO. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Johnson.
